The project's objectives
The project aimed to carry out the renovation and maintenance of electrical equipment in several FAST laboratories. In addition to providing technical assistance, the objective was to promote the transfer of skills and encourage students to engage in initiatives promoting sustainable development.
Participants
The event brought together students from the L3 license of the FAST Renewable Energy and Energy Systems training, as well as the technical team from CLEAN ENERGY FOR AFRICA SARL. This interdisciplinary collaboration allowed for the exchange of knowledge and experiences while working together to achieve the project objectives.
Skills developed
During the activity, participants had the opportunity to develop various technical skills, including:
- Plumbing: Maintenance of pipes and water pipes, as well as troubleshooting of faucets to ensure efficient use of water.
- Electricity: Installation of mixers and electrical outlets to optimize the use of electrical energy in laboratories.
- Air Conditioner Maintenance: Troubleshooting, cleaning and recharging of refrigerant to ensure the proper functioning and efficiency of air conditioners.
- Painting: Improving the aesthetics of laboratories through painting work.
Impact and Continuous Engagement
This initiative has had a positive impact on the university by improving working conditions in laboratories and strengthening students' skills in energy efficiency. CLEAN ENERGY FOR AFRICA SARL remains committed to promoting sustainable development and plans to continue its efforts to support similar educational and community initiatives in the future.
